• Comes included with a stool, soft bag, and cleaning cloth. The stool this comes is perfect for low-ground practicing and can be dually used as a handpan stand. The miniature beater which is included is optional and only recommended for harmonic testing instead of actual performing. The cleaning cloth and soft bag are sturdy and long lasting.

The 9 Note Handpan in D Kurd Minor by Handpan Planet is the best entry-level handpan there currently is. Long deemed our most versatile, there’s no doubt why it has become our most popular handpan since its introduction to our store in October 2019. The notes sing beautifully with an all-around level of control over both intonation and projection across the whole D Minor scale. The combination of its nitrided (anti-rust) gold coating and minor-reduced thickness of each note gives life to not only a handpan which is practical to transport at only 8lbs and gorgeous to look at but whose notes allow for a simplicity overproducing their harmonics and pitch bends. There are numerous handpans out there claiming to be top quality and worth every cent of their $1000+ price tag. Even the lower-end handpans within the hundred-dollar sign mark seek to gain a competitive edge by promoting masked short-lasting projection and microtonal dissonances because people are desperate to get a handpan.
