The babydan swing shut wide pressure fit safety gate features a unique automatically locking handle. the gate can be used in various doorways, stair cases and hallways. our cleverly designed handle incorporates two functions, a “slam shut” if you are in a hurry or “silent close” if you do not want to wake up your sleeping baby. the standard swing shut gate fits openings from 96.5cm to 103cm. it can be extended further by using babydan extend a gate kit allowing the gate to extend up to 110cm. swing shut is manufactured in our very own and environmentally friendly factory in a town called lasby in the heart of denmark. we have been manufacturing here since 1947 and are world leaders in child safety products. the gate is 73cm tall and is finished in a non toxic powder coat making it super safe for both children and pets. the gate can be fitted straight from the box without any screwing or drilling. it can also be used along with the babydan staircase adaptor kit.
