The large glass steaming dish helps to preserve delicate flavours within your recipe and it’s removable so you can use it to serve your food directly at the table. In addition to the large steaming tray, also included are 2 steaming containers. One container has holes which is perfect for steaming a portion of vegetables. The other container has no holes, so is perfect for rice and grains. These containers allow you to cook different elements of your meal at the same time – try steaming a piece of fish on the steaming tray along with a container of veg or rice.
The Cuisinart Glass Steamer has an intuitive LCD display with a countdown timer. It has keep warm, reheat and pause features so you can keep food warm until you are ready to serve, or cook ahead of time and re-heat before serving. It’s also really easy to keep clean – once you’ve finished cooking, simply pop the glass dish, lid, steaming tray and containers in the dishwasher. All food contact parts are BPA free and it comes with a 3 year guarantee.

EASY TO USE
To use, simply fill the 1L reservoir with water and select the cooking time on the LCD display. Insert the steaming tray into the glass dish and add the containers if required. Then add your ingredients.
It's possible to cook different foods at the same time, such as fish and vegetables. If ingredients require different steaming times, simply pause steaming to add extra ingredients part way through cooking.
At the end of cooking, you can activate the keep warm mode to keep your ingredients warm without overcooking until you are ready to serve. Or you can use the reheat function to reheat just before serving.
The LCD display has an icon to let you know when the water tank needs refilling. All removable parts are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
