Safety is critical when working at height and it’s important to ensure your ladder is certified to the right safety standard. Click ‘n’ Climb is certified to EN131-6 – the specific safety standard for telescopic ladders (the -6 is important, not simply EN131) – and is loaded with features to keep you safe. The construction is robust yet lightweight, featuring 1.5mm thick telescopic tubular aluminium that enables it to bear a maximum load weight of 150kg (330 lbs). It opens from the bottom upwards only for maximum safety so rungs are always evenly spaced as you climb, with an audible click mechanism that locks rungs into place for safe climbing and sure footing. Together with the extra wide footer bar featuring anti-slip rubber feet that bolts securely to the bottom, it gives maximum stability with no lateral movement or wobble when you’re on the ladder. When it comes to collapsing the ladder, unlike some ladders that come crashing down and need rubber impact dampeners between the rungs and are a danger to fingers, Click ‘n’ Climb features a soft close mechanism operated by a single set of thumb buttons that control all rungs, ensuring that your fingers are kept well away from the rungs as they slide smoothly down, with no danger of finger trapping. The ladder collapses in sequence from the topmost extended rung down to a compact size for handy storage in vans, garages, utility cupboards, etc.
