Why don’t I see the detected objects immediately when moving the device over them?

The device gathers data not only from above the object, but also from surrounding area. If possible, move the device over the area of interest with an additional 10 cm on each side. Then move the device back and check the detection results.

What exactly do I see on the display?

Object view shows detected objects as black dots. If a dot appears exactly on the centre line, the detected object is directly below the middle of the tool. The different positions on the vertical axes mean different depths of the detected objects.

I am getting the slipping wheel warning. What can I do?

The rear wheels have sensors to know the position of measurements. If the contact between these two wheels and the wall is not firm you can get this warning. Try to increase the pressure to the rear wheels slightly to eliminate this warning.

I need to measure very close to a corner. How can I do that?

The D-tect 150 SV cannot detect objects that are closer to a corner than 10 cm. In this case, the D-tect 120 can be used, as it can detect objects that are only a few centimetres away from the corner.

I need to follow a cable. How can I do this?

D-tect 150 SV needs to scan the cable’s next potential position and only moves side-to-side. Following objects is easier with D-tect 120, as it moves in all directions and has a navigation system to find the centre of the object.
