The Vision cage will become a sanctuary, a real home, it will help you provide a safe and comfortable environment for your bird. There are a variety of Vision Cages available. Smaller cages with small wire are made for finches, canaries, budgies and lovebirds. Larger cages with large wire are for larger budgies, lovebirds, cockatiels and parrotlets.

Features of your Vision Cage

Wide Double Doors

Vision cages come with large front double doors. They pivot inwards at a 90 degree angle and serve as a convenient landing pad for birds returning from a brief jaunt outside the cage. The benefit of the doors opening inward is that when birds return from their jaunt and perch on the open doors, their waste falls in the base inside the cage and not on the floor. The doors work independently, so you can close one and leave the other one open. This comes in handy when you need to handle a bird, because it allows you to reach inside and minimises the chances of your bird escaping.

Deep Base Design

Vision cages have a fantastic deep base making it suitable for multiple types of litter, so you can select a litter that suits you and your bird. The base also has raised ridges on the inside to provide increased air circulation and helping to prevent unwanted mildew.

Unique Base = Less Mess

Birds tend to be frenetic eaters and as they eat, seeds invariably fly all over the place. When birds fly in their cages, their flapping wings create downwards air currents. So a combination of frenetic eating and a downdraft from their wings can cause quite a mess! Vision’s deep base combined with a debris guard and the low position of the feeders helps retain the waste inside the cage and solves the messiness problem. Flying food and faeces ultimately wind up in the base.

Cleaning Convenience

Most bird cages have pull-out drawers at the bottom that often fail to do a good job at collecting bird seeds and waste, which can tend to fall in the cracks between the cage and drawer, creating maintenance headaches. Vision cages do not have drawers. Instead, the upper portion of the cage detaches from the base so that you can walk away with the whole base and empty the contents of the base into the waste bin, therefore cleaning takes less time and is simpler.

No-Stress Access to Feeders

The Seed/Water Cup has 2 compartments and can either be used to offer a variety of foods or both food and water. The seed and water cups can be accessed from the outside of the cage, this way you don’t have to reach in with your hand and stress your birds during simple maintenance tasks. There is also an extra single door at the side of the cage purely dedicated to feeding. The feeders are conveniently located near the bottom of the cage, so that there is a high likelihood that jettisoned seeds end up in the base below.

Multi-Grip Perches

Most perches come in one uniform diameter. So birds using these types of uniformly-sized perches develop the same grasping position. Vision perches have a wavy pattern with varying diameters, so as birds grip them at different perch points they are changing they way in which they grip, the different gripping variations they use on these perches promote blood circulation and prevent foot problems. The unique perches can also be accessed from the exterior making moving and cleaning them less stressful for both you and your bird.
