50GPD Reverse Osmosis System
Our RO-50MP pumped 4-stage RO system is an excellent source to prepare appropriate conditions for aquatic organisms. Fitted with a TYP-2500 pump and powered by a 24DC in-built mains transformer. If you have poor water pressure, a pumped unit is essential to provide high-quality reverse osmosis or DI water.
The system features 4 stages of filtration: Stage 1 Sediment Pre-filter; Stage 2 CTO Prefilter; Stage 3 RO Filter; Stage 4 De-ionisation.

- Actual water output is dependent upon local water characteristics, which include temperature, turbidity and Ph value (temperature being the most important).
- All measurements are in US gallons. 1 US gallon = 3.78 litres. 1 UK gallon = 4.54 litres. Membrane life is dependent upon the hardness of your incoming tap water. The harder your tap water, the shorter your membrane life.
- As with all RO membranes, you can expect to achieve 50-60% of the rated output from the membrane (mainly due to UK water temperature of 12°C). As with all RO diaphragm pumps, they are not designed for 24/7 operation, and the pump must be rested for 30 minutes every 4 hours.
