Product description

A high quality, monograde non-detergent oil primarily for pre-1950 veteran, vintage and classic engines which require this type of oil. Designed for engines without modern filtration systems where a non-detergent lubricant is specified, and formulated to protect period seal and gasket materials. Primarily for use in pre-1950 car, motorcycle and light commercial 4 stroke engines, both petrol and diesel, but can also be used in period gearboxes where an API GL-1 gear oil is required.Note: these non-detergent formulations are not suitable for use in many automotive engines built after 1951 – use in more modern engines may cause unsatisfactory performance or possible equipment harm – please check compatibility before use.
