Product description

Our Nurseryman’s Choice Hanging Basket Collection is just perfect for your summer garden, these jumbo plug plants are ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes and containers. This collection includes a mixture of Pelargoniums, including geraniums, fuchsias and petunias. Expect your collection to bloom from June all the way through to October! We cannot specify exact varieties upfront but we know you won’t be disappointed! Although technically perennial, Pelargoniums are only half hardy and therefore normally treated as annuals in the UK. However, with care, they may be overwintered in a frost free greenhouse.

Pot up hanging basket plants and grow them on before transplanting them into hanging baskets and containers. Keep the plants in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before moving hanging baskets to a sunny spot outdoors.

Feed and water hanging basket plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
