Product description

This chimney cowl will not only improve combustion, prevent downdraught, protect your chimney from rain and birds but will also last a lifetime due to its stainless steel AISI304 construction, also referred to as 18/8 . With material thickness 0,4mm this chimney cowl cap will become a complex solution to a lot of chimney problems.

The stainless steel type 304 is austenitic stainless steel. Its primary crystalline structure is austenite and it prevents steels from being hardenable by heat treatment and makes them essentially non-magnetic.

The high amounts of nickel and chromium in austenitic stainless steel type 304 also provide outstanding corrosion resistance.
In the past we were producing our chimney cowls by a different stainless steel type but following customers feedback we started making them by the more expensive, rust resisting and sophisticated stainless steel type 304.

• This chimney cowl speciаl anti downdraught design will not allow the wind to go down а chimney. It will keep the rain and snow away and birds will be large enough to cannot enter inside..
• This chimney cowl improves combustion thus saving you not only money and fuel but also keeping the warmth longer inside the home.
• This chimney top is made to go over your existing chimney pipe. In order to easier mount your chimney cap on your pipe, we are now producing our chimney cowls with 2-4mm wider than the size specified on the scheme. Thus you will have greater flexibility when attaching the chimney top. We made this change following customers’ feedback and we are proud with the outcome.
• We have also added an additional layer of security by making the bottom part of your stainless steel chimney cap (the part that contacts the chimney pipe itself) of thicker and sounder material. In this way your chimney top will be soundly attached to your chimney flue pipe.
