Additional Features

Includes True RMS, CATIV 600V, Pass/Fail for fast repetitive test, low resistance measurement

What is the range of the insulation tester?

The user can select a test voltage of 50V, 125V, 250V, 500V or 1000V. The meter can measure insulation resistance up to 5000Mohms.

What is DAR and PI?

They are timed tests that give the ratio of the insulation resistance between the start of the test and the end. A ratio below 1 indicates bad insulation.

What does the CAT IV safety rating provide?

It provides a higher level of protection compared to a CAT lll multimeter. It can be used on higher power circuits.

Why is True RMS important?

A True RMS meter provides a more accurate reading when measuring AC current and voltage.
