Health Tips for Using a Breast Pump:

1. Before pumping, apply a hot towel to the breasts, massage to stimulate the areola, and make the breasts completely unblocked;

2. Pump at a pressure that suits you;

3. As long as 80% of the breast milk is pumped (the longest time should not exceed 20 minutes):

4. Stop pumping when your breasts or nipples feel sore;

5. Wash your hands before pumping or handling breast milk;

6. Use a container with a lid when storing breast milk;

7. Remove breast milk that has been refrigerated for more than 72 hours;

8. Do not feed refrigerated breast milk and fresh breast milk together;

9. Thaw the refrigerated breast milk or put the container in a bowl of warm water before using it for feeding;

10. Do not thaw breast milk in a microwave oven or directly heat breast milk to feed your baby, because the uneven distribution of heat can easily hurt your child's tongue. In addition, high temperature heating will also destroy some nutrients in breast milk;

11. Do not re-refrigerate breast milk. If your baby can't drink it all at once, dispose of the rest. Thawed breast milk should not be used after 24 hours.
