- Choose Right colour:
- Choose the right plain hair colour based on your natural hair ends rather than hair roots. If you are unsure about the colour match, it's best to choose the slightly lighter tone which makes a natural ombre blend and has a healthy glow to the hair. Besides, it's easier to dye a light tone into a dark shade.
- If you like to ombre or highlight your hair, you can choose lighter plain colour to blend in with your natural hair or choose extensions with ombre or highlight dye based on your hair roots.
- Right hair length:
- Choose hair extensions 2 inches longer than you want it to be. The extra two inches allow you to cut the extensions for a perfect blend.
- For wavy hair, please choose 2-4 inches longer than the straight hair that the above picture shows, since the length of wavy hair extensions are measured and recorded before curled (when they are naturally straight).
- How to wear Clip in Human Hair Extensions?
- Divide your hair into two sections. Use your index finger or a comb to make the parting, sectioning off the top part of your hair and securing it with a hair tie or hair clip. (If your hair is very thin, use a comb to gently tease the lower half of your hair in one-inch sections. This will help keep the extensions securely in place.)
- Pop (snap) open the clips on the longest pieces. Align the tops of the hair extensions with the horizontal part you have made, and gently push down to snap the clips into place. It is very important that you place the clips on the hair below the part.
- Then attach other pieces one by one. Other pieces with narrower width can be attached on the side, back or even the top of your head.
