Mole mesh – ideal protection for your lawn.

Mole grids or mole barriers offer optimal and reliable protection against annoying mounds in your own garden. The mole grid is placed directly on the area to be protected and thus prevents the mole from penetrating to the surface. Lawn can then be cut on the grid itself, or artificial rolling lawns. Thus, the grid is no longer visible.

Through the blockage, the mole can no longer bring the excess soil from the digging of the underground corridors, leaving the area and looking for a new home.

When choosing a suitable net, two factors are particularly important. On the one hand, the mesh width of the grid and on the other hand the weight per square metre. A suitable mesh width is in a range between 7 and 10 mm. This is large enough to allow the growth of lawn and plants, but stops the mole from biting through the net. The weight of the grid also plays an important role, as it is not intended for the mole to push away or move the net. A good reference value is 500 g/m².
