The next generation Hive brings you beautiful design, intuitive control and easy to use features. It also comes with professional installation from a British Gas engineer, no matter who supplies your energy, and includes a free motion sensor! Hive Works with your existing heating system you’ll never need to heat an empty home again, so you could save up to £130 a year on your heating bills. You can easily keep track of how you’re using your heating through the temperature graphs on the Hive app and if you have a hot water tank, you can easily control your hot water too. Once you receive your Hive Active Heating order, you’ll be able to redeem your voucher via the Hive website to book an installation at a time to suit you. Your installation will take around 90 minutes. The wireless Hive Motion sensor monitors your surroundings by using infrared technology and sends an alert to your smartphone if there’s movement in your home when you’re not there. You can also easily turn off alerts when you’ll be at home to save you getting unnecessary notifications. Using the Hive app, you can monitor activity in your home and you can choose how you receive notifications too. The app also allows you to view a 7 day history of events and Hive actions allow you to set triggers and actions for any Hive sensors, Hive Active plug, or Hive Active lights that you have helping to make your home work for you. This means you can easily set your Hive Motion sensor to trigger your Hive Active Light and find your way to the bathroom without bumping into a wall. Not only that, you can leave the house every day knowing that everything’s OK at home with your Hive Motion sensor. The sensor can also be installed in an instant, just place it on a surface or use the self-adhesive tabs to attach to the wall or in a corner. Then pair it with the Hive Hub and add your sensor on the Hive app and you’re good to go.

Please note this product requires any three of the compatible Hive hubs (if you don’t have Hive Active heating) which connects all your Hive devices so you can control them with the Hive app. In order to use the app, you’ll need an Apple iPhone or iPad running iOS 9 or higher, a device running Android (minimum 4.4), or a laptop or tablet with internet access.
