The ERA BS 3621:2007 High Security Nightlatch features an integral cylinder pull that protects the cylinder from being drilled. With a 60mm backset, the ERA BS Nightlatch is an ideal security upgrade or a replacement product for most existing* front door locks. Suitable for inward opening interior and exterior timber doors only. The non-handed design can be fitted to both left and right hung doors and is face fixed to the door, with the fixings provided. The internal locking handle can be deadlocked by an anti-clockwise turn of the key from the inside for additional security against forced entry, making the lock particularly suitable for glass panelled doors. For security, the lock has been designed with a 20mm bolt throw and is fitted in conjunction with a striker keep that has three fixing holes for added strength. The main lock bolt “automatically” deadlocks into the keep upon closing the door, making the use of a credit card to force entry virtually impossible. The bolt can also be held in the withdrawn position (only) with the use of the snib feature, allowing the door to be accessible without operating the handle. The cylinder has over 30,000 key variations and is supplied with 3 cut keys. The 1930-35-1 lock has a Satin Chrome Body with a Satin cylinder (matte satin finish). *Please note: if you are replacing an existing Nightlatch, please refer to the specification document for this product and check the drawing before purchase, to ensure that it will fit. Additional routing or drilling may be required. If necessary, the cylinder bar and connecting bolts may need to be trimmed, this must be done accurately to ensure the lock operates correctly (please refer to the fitting instructions).
