The DTD172Z features quick mode switching button, anti-bit wobbling structure, 4 stage impact power selection for wood mode, bolt mode, T-mode thick metal and T-mode thin metal and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current.
The DTD172Z is not compatible with G-Series batteries.

The DTD172Z is a compact and lightweight, cordless Impact Driver powered by 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor, with variable speed controlled by trigger, to deliver up to 0-3,800, 3,600, 2,600, 1,100 ipm, 0,3600, 3,200, 2,100, 1,100 RPM and 180 Nm maximum tightening torque.
The DTD172Z is equipped with electric brake for increased operator safety, reverse switch, one touch bit installation designed to hold the bit more securely, LED job light to illuminate the work area and slim body to enable screwdriving in confined corners or spaces.
