Inulin first came to the public attention when it was featured in Angela Rippon’s ‘How to Stayng’. It is a starchy fibre which is found in a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Natures Aid Inulin Powder is a soluble fibre which is extracted from Chicory Root, and 100% Natural. Made with FOS, this product can be easily added to any food and drink. It is a high fibre, low calorie substance.
Each 5.5g serving provides 4.4g of fibre.
Fibres such as Inulin serve as food for the good bacteria within microbiome, and as such have been the subject of much research in recent years. The fibres which feed good bacteria are often referred to as “Prebiotics”.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

It is a starchy fibre found in a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, including wheat, onions, bananas, leeks, artichokes, asparagus and chicory.
It is a high fibre, low calorie substance.
The human gut is full of bacteria, often referred to as ‘The Microbiome’.
Much research is currently underway studying the impact of the microbiome and the fibres which feed them.
The fibres which feed the good bacteria of the microbiome are often referred to as ‘prebiotics’.
