Brother Story

Founded more than 100 years ago in Nagoya, Japan, Brother's first European subsidiary was established in 1958. Over the past 50 years, we have consistently paved the way for new innovations: the first high-speed matrix printer in 1971, the world's thinnest standalone mobile printer in 2004 and the first desktop scanner with built-in wireless connectivity. Our company is now a global provider of specialized solutions – currently has 17 production sites and more than 50 marketplaces in 44 countries around the world.
