Q: Will the AutoLink Adapter Work with my phone/vehicle?
Apple Devices: Compatible with iPhone's 6 and newer
Android Devices: Compatible with all Android devices with Android Auto downloaded/installed. (Most phones come with android auto preinstalled. To check, simply search for android auto on your device. If you are unable to locate it, the android auto app is also downloadable from the app store. If you are unable to locate the android auto app on your device, and unable to download it from the play store, your phone is not compatible with android auto)
Vehicle: Compatible with all vehicles with wired CarPlay/Android Auto (except BMW's).
Q: Can the Adapter be paired to multiple phones?
A: The adapter can be be paired with multiple phone's but only one device can be connected at a time. Before pairing a new phone, please turn off both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the current phone.
Q: I am having connections issues. How can this be fixed?
a) Unplug the adapter and reconnect it
b) Reset the connection. To do this, unplug and reconnect the adapter. Then on your phone, go to Settings – Bluetooth – Locate the AutoLink Adapter – Click 'forget the device'. Once this is done and reconnect.
Q: The AutoLink adapter will not auto connect after set up. How can this be fixed?
A: In some vehicles, you may need to select 'automatic connection' in the CarPlay/Android Auto settings of your vehicle. Also ensure the WIFI and Bluetooth on your phone are turned on and not connected to other devices.
