This product is designed and made locally! The lightweight compact shield is designed to provide more accurate temperature and relative humidity readings against error-producing solar radiation and precipitation. The design allows optimum wind flow between the ventilated tiers, whilst preventing rain and the direct heat from the sun affecting the sensors readings. The white UV stabilized thermoplastic offers high reflectivity and low thermal conductivity. Two mounting options can be selected: 1) Mounted directly to a wall/fence with stainless steel screws and subtly blends into the exterior decor. 2) Mountes to a window/glazed surface with suction cups. The readily available sensors are easy to access and replace in seconds should the need arise, but do have up to 4 years battery life depending on the conditions and battery quality. Buyer considerations: Please factor in coverage/range of your WiFi/Zigbee network. * This product uses sensors specified for indoor use nestled safe & dry within the deaign, all of our outdoor test examples are fully functional 4 years on. We can not predict longevity of sensors at coastal locations.
