• Is this set-top box compatible with Freesat?

  No, This set-top box is designed for DVB-T and DVB-T2 terrestrial signals only. It is not compatible with Freesat or any satellite broadcasting services.. For satellite viewing, a dedicated satellite receiver is required.

• Product does not work with my TV

  Ensure the TV has SCART, HDMI, or RCA ports. Follow the instruction manual for proper connection between the TV and the set-top box. Make sure the cables are securely connected. Ensure the TV resolution is set to 720p or 1080p.

• Can I watch one channel while recording another?

  Yes! The DVB502 is equipped with a dual tuner, allowing you to record one channel while watching another.

  If you’re unable to do this, check that the channel search is complete and the signal is stable.

• Why can’t I record encrypted or paid channels?

  The DVB502 only supports recording of Freeview free-to-air channels.

  Encrypted or paid channels cannot be recorded due to broadcast restrictions.

• Why doesn't the connection type match my TV? Does the device support 4K recording?

  The DVB502 supports HDMI and AV (RCA) connections. If your TV has a Scart or other port type, use a compatible adapter.

  The DVB502 records in HD quality (up to 1080p). It does not support 4K resolution for recording.
