The SunSun CW-160 Circulation pump is one of the pumps with highest effect grade in the Aquaristics.

Comparing the power consumption of the CW-series with other aquarium pumps you find out that energy saving has been recognized and realized. Aquarium pumps are running permanently, saving each watt means relieving each money bag.

Circulation pumps are important in the Aquaristics and especially for sea water aquariums, as corals and some fish species need a natural water circulation.

Circulation pumps have to simulate that natural circulation in the aquarium.
Often circulation pumps are installed contrarily in order to produce a “diffuse flow”.

The flows produced by the aquarium pumps prevent that unwanted sediments accumulate on the ground of the aquarium.

The SunSun CW-160 Wavemaker circulation pump – fixed on the holder – can be swivelled by 45° in each direction. Also the outlet nozzle of the circulation pump enables a swivelling by 45° in each direction.

The pump power is 1700-20000 litres per hour with a power consumption of just 60 Watt. The low-wear charbon steel axis garantees a long-life cyle of the aquarium pump.

The rotors of the aquarium circulation pump are similar to the construction of the ship propeller and thus produce a steadily and wide current with a minimum of power consumption.

All electronic parts are made of epoxy resin and by this protected in an optimal way.

The SunSun CW-160 circulation pump with controller is suitable for aquariums of 150 cm up to 200 cm size.
