The Pond Friend XTP Filter Pumps have been designed specifically to run pond filtration systems and waterfalls. They have super low power consumption motors that help make them one of the most economical and efficient pond pumps available. The pumps strainer cage allows particles of up to 6mm to pass through but prevents small fish and other wildlife from being sucked in. The multi directional outlet hosetail takes hose sizes of 20mm, 25mm, 32mm and 38mm although we recommend always using the largest bore hose possible. All models come with 10m of outdoor cable and IC electronic detection that automatically cuts the power to the motor off in the event of an impeller blockage or lack of water flow. Cleaning and maintenance are simple and require no tools to remove the filter cage or clean the impeller. There are 5 models in the range capable of pumping from 3500 to 10000 litre an hour of water and come with a 12 month warranty.
