The pioneering 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (model A069) telephoto zoom lens was developed in response to user feedback that “the angle of view of the starting focal length is not optimal” when using a 70-300mm zoom. The new model A069 therefore now offers a standard focal length of 50mm, offering much more flexibility when shooting. This compact 6x zoom lens is extremely compact at just 150mm long and, weighing just 665g, one of the lightweights in its class. In addition, the precise placement of special lens elements (including two XLD and two LD lens elements) ensures effective reduction of aberrations and high image quality across the entire zoom range.
